Hi, I'm Rev. Nikki, a wedding officiant known for my love-centered, meaningful and memorable wedding ceremonies. Licensed to preside over any wedding ceremonies in the Province of Ontario, my creativity and attention to detail has me writing and officiating wedding ceremonies that are romantic, sentimental, or serious and as unique as your personal love story.

First, the little details...

As your Officiant, I will...

request a virtual first meeting, followed by your 50% non-refundable deposit to secure my availability on your wedding day
offer you a classic ceremony as a base, make recommendations, and allow you the freedom to edit or customize it
be present a half-hour prior to your wedding time
organize your wedding party on the day of your wedding
officiate your ceremony
complete your Marriage License and Registry and ensure your paperwork is returned to the Province by registered mail within 48 hours of your ceremony, and advise you on next steps
be available to you by email as you plan your wedding ceremony, and afterward for major life celebrations and blessings

Things to consider...

All services are prepaid
No surprises. We will co-create your ceremony and your unique situation, wishes and preferences will be honoured and my ceremony script pre-approved by you.
You choose which option of attire you'd like me to wear
I do not have a mic, it'll be just me and my teacher voice
The pandemic reminded us to always have a backup in case of illness, rest assured, I do.

We'll discuss what I charge extra for:

In-person rehearsals
Weddings over 60km away
Parking fees or other venue expenses for me to be present for your ceremony or rehearsal
Ceremony customization above and beyond my standard ceremony

Let's Make it Legal

This is an elopement wedding ceremony, with legal documents completed, and two witnesses. You'll need a valid Marriage License, followed by a declaration of each person wishing to be united in marriage, I'll preside over a brief, but sweet ceremony.

Simply Sweet

These sweet, intimate ceremonies are my personal favourite. Unlike an elopement, a few other guests might be joining you. This is a perfect option when you're having a destination wedding or a vow renewal. Gather your inner circle of friends and family at your favourite spot and let's celebrate your love. You'll need to arrive on time with your Marriage License, two adult witnesses and guests at a location discussed in advance.

Perfectly Planned

It will be my honour to launch you into the next amazing chapter of your lives, telling about and celebrating your love, while honouring your traditions and wishes for your wedding ceremony.

We start with getting to know each other, then I'll send you a ceremony/vow template and resources so you can make it personal and build in the legal as well as your personalized elements into your ceremony.

An Incredible Celebration

We will make your ceremony one that will have everyone there grateful to have been invited, wishing they were you, and remembering your ceremony as the most amazing and beautiful they’ve ever attended.

We begin by getting to know each other and I'll prepare your customized wedding ceremony. In this package, I include any additions you wish to have (honouring seniors or ancestors, religious, traditional or spiritual ceremonies, unity ceremonies for blended families, etc.) and all your legal paperwork. A walkthrough or a rehearsal with your wedding party is included.

$650/ ceremony

Customized ceremonies can include: blending families, including children, unity candle, sand ceremony, hand-fasting, breaking the glass, jumping the broom, cord/veil/coins, ring warming, honouring parents and ancestors, adding important cultural, religious or spiritual traditions, and many others
Witnesses for your ceremony, with advanced notice
Destination weddings - so fun!!! Will be discussed on an individual basis

Rehearsals:

To save a little, all packages include a walk through of the ceremony, virtual or in-person, with only the couple. This is often agreed as a better alternative to a full rehearsal when the bridal party is small.

However, without a Wedding Planner, Officiants are often asked to attend a formal rehearsal to run everyone involved through the flow of the ceremony, work through timing, positioning, choreography of the processional, parent/loved-one hand-off’s, and the recessional.

The number of people in the bridal party will determine how long this will take, and the cost, but most last 30 minutes. A rehearsal can make everyone feel more relaxed and confident on the day of the wedding.
